As an American company, we are listed on the NASDAQ under the name WSSI. Our global customers include Sony, Nokia, DaimlerChrysler and Oracle. We are working on European expansion from offices in Hoofddorp. And we are being fully supported in this by the International Desk of Kab in Voorburg. | | Europe is a single market for us As General Manager for Europe, I have been responsible for the development of WebSideStory in all European countries since 2000. I am originally French, but I see myself much more as a European. We therefore see Europe as a single market. Admittedly a complicated market, with different languages, cultures, laws and regulations, but with a single level when it comes to our business. | | We think global and act local This 'think global, act local' philosophy is also shared by the International Desk at Kab. They understand our objectives and support our full service with cross-border accountancy and tax advice. They take care of our local bookkeeping and concentrate all the management information for the whole of Europe. Furthermore, they have a great deal of knowledge under one roof in the area of human resources. And that is of crucial importance to a knowledge-intensive company like ours. | | A small team that I have known for years Without doubt, the Netherlands is the most 'European' country in Europe. That made it logical for us to locate our office in Hoofddorp. Here you find people who speak many different languages. And who have knowledge of all laws and regulations. Apart from that, the Dutch are simply friendly people. Maybe it has something to do with my southern background, but this is also something I find important. That's why I enjoy working with the people at Kab in Voorburg. A small team that I have known for years. | | At Kab we are not a number Kab is the perfect partner for all of Europe for a medium-sized international organisation such as WebSideStory. They are flexible, expert, reliable and full-service. We are not a number there, as we would be at a really big firm of accountants. We are customers of such a Big Firm in the United States, but that is due to our listing on the NASDAQ. And Kab works very well with these American colleague-competitors.
